YOU have outsized power
When western leaders testify at congressional hearings or publish opinion editorials, the authenticity of your voices carries magnified weight.
YOU form a crucial bulwark against attacks on conservation and democracy
State and federal decision-makers accord tremendous deference to the opinions and positions articulated by county commissioners, tribal council members, mayors, town councilors, school board members, electric co-op and water district board members, and other local officials. Local and tribal governments also serve as incubators for driving innovation and applying new policy approaches for solving issues that face the West.
Western Leaders Network is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization. There are no membership dues, but we accept individual contributions to support the network.
